What will I receive after completing the journalism course?
Successful graduates receive a Diploma of Professional Freelance Journalism from the British College of Journalism, recognising the skills and knowledge developed throughout the course.
The practical experience gained during this online journalism course is designed to help you build confidence as a freelance writer and prepare for real-world publishing opportunities. As you progress through the course, you will develop the ability to research, write, structure, and present professional-quality articles.
By the end of the course, you will have developed a strong foundation in freelance journalism and the practical skills needed to take on a wide range of writing assignments across different publications and industries.
What is the INS Media Pass?
The pass identifies you as a trained freelance journalist and can serve as a useful form of professional identification when pursuing writing opportunities.
Eligible graduates can apply for a complimentary INS Media Pass after successfully completing the course.
The INS Media Pass is valid for three years, with updated passes available after expiry if required.
In addition, graduates are automatically accredited with International News Syndicate LTD. (INS) and added to its register of freelance writers and media contributors. This accreditation recognises your training and connection to a wider network of media professionals.
