A few years ago I was thinking about the possibility of improving my writing skills and get an understanding of journalism. I wanted to be able to capture the stories of the people, places and things I come across on my travels.
I went online for courses that would give me the support and flexibility to study in my own time. My very first search took me to British College of Journalism, and I looked no further. What they offered was exactly what I was looking for!
The course modules were designed for both mature students and beginners, and it was very cost effective… I didn’t have to break the bank.
Having completed the course, not only has my writing improved, but I’ve completed and published a book of poetry. I’m already working on the next one! I have also caught the interests of a few online magazines and journals, wanting me to share my writing.
If you’re looking to improve your writing skills, whether as a beginner, or mature writer, who just want to brush up your talents, I would recommend the British College of Journalism.
You’re guaranteed professional support from both staff and tutors.
